A Tea For Every Meal June 23, 2021 · Blog, Tea There’s comes a time in the life of every adult (atleast I hope) that we decide to have better for ourselves and that better will look different for us all.As the old adage goes: one mans trash is another mans treasure and for me leaving the high paced environment for quieter pastures is my level up Twenty plus years ago my level up was leaving the slow paced midwestern upbringing of Kansas City Missouri for the fast paced hussle and bustle of NYC It was just what I needed at the time and would be for the 20 years . Fast forward to 2020 my world as many was turned upside down and to be frank my world was broken in a million little pieces in April of 2019 when someone whom I loved deeply was killed in a traffic accident. I just came out of a year plus of grief and was ready to date again, explore the world again and like a plague COVID 19 shut the world down.Mind you I had already been in solitude extensively so this added year plus of mostly solitude among other things shifted my perspective on what’s important and how I wanted to live the next stage of my life .It seems overnight that NYC was no longer by beloved NYC it was the last draw .
